This multi-talented artist’s burgeoning career has spanned multiple aspects of the performance industry. Although Elise is already an acclaimed actress, dancer, singer, emcee, model, graphic artist, and television personality, she has still yet to exhaust her creative potential. She continues to evolve and expand her portfolio with collaborative efforts representing her unique personal and cultural aesthetic. In the works are television and musical projects, guest appearances, and original performance art. She also plans to release a select compilation of her artistic works for retail and online distribution.
Elise began her modeling career at the age of three for Macy’s and was highly influenced by the Fillmore Jazz scene as a child by her father, Earl (Chibo) Evans who played in the leading area clubs of the time. From this early beginning, she began to express herself creatively through drawing, dance, and theater.
Elise’s expression through dance is homage to her ancestors who survived the Trans-Atlantic middle passage and slavery. She has been working with the Oakland-based Samba Funk troupe and participates in their annual Carnaval festival in San Francisco.
Professionally, Elise has worked for University of California, Berkeley as a Graphic Designer and is considered a master in her craft. She gained her Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications from UC Berkeley and has professional certifications in Graphic Design, Web Design, and Project Management from the Graphic Arts Institute of Northern California.
All this and constant photo shoots with celebrities, keeps this emerging diva movin’ and shakin’ with those who do the same. As she says in her personal mantra, “I’m Doin’ Life Without Interruptions!”
